another year

A quiet month.

I went home to Norway for a visit.

Back to New York. Worked on some personal projects and visited museums – the usual <3

Then I went to LA and filled the itinerary with beach trips, hiking, museums and architecture tours.

Back again to New York for cherry blossom season.

In June we went to the west coast of Norway to see the fjords. We lived in a spectacular location surrounded by mountains and waterfalls.

I went to visit my sister in Seoul.
At the moment I found Seoul to be hectic, but looking back at it now I had an amazing time. It’s fast paced and offers a lot of things to do (and eat:-).

We went to beautiful Jeju Island. A place with incredible landscapes and sights.

Then we took a trip to Osaka and Kyoto, Japan.
I fell deeply in love with Kyoto – what a harmonious place.

New York again. We spent most of our time in Brooklyn but I ventured out once, to the glass house in Connecticut.

Spent the autumn back in Norway.

Things went by slowly.

One last escape to Berlin.
..Then it was christmas and time spent with family for the rest of the year.

A somewhat surface level post leaving out the personal and rather highlighting the travels – which is what made it a good year after all.
Either way I’m thankful for many moments and opportunities that came with 2016.

Thank you for still following and reading :-)

You have traveled a lot last year. It was a great year, wasn’t it? :)

Beautiful pictures! Would you consider moving back to New York? Do you want to stay in Norway now or are you planning on moving to another country maybe? I myself left New York recently after a couple of years and as much as I was tired of it while living there, I miss it so much.

      Thank you!

I’m happy living in Norway for now as I want to be close to my family :) I do miss New York but I will be travelling back and forth often so it’s ok!

I love your blog! Can I ask, which lenses do you normally use for your photos?

Hi Roosa. Thank you! I usually use a canon g1x mark II, sometimes I use a DSLR with a Sigma 30mm 1.4f lens :)
